The Painting Started Today on Woodson's Way!

FremontRossFootball.com brings you the latest news and pictures on this project.  Ksm624, CPAGiant and myself started the painting today.  In all, a total of 34 Footprints were painted with approximately 45 more to paint.  FremontRossFootball.com is still looking for more people that would like to help out with the painting of the footprints.  The next scheduled time to finish the repainting is Sunday, August 5 at 3 P.M.  If you would like to help out with this project (painting) please E-Mail Us for further information.  I how however like to send a special thanks to Damman Paint for donating the Purple Paint that we used for this project.

The Votes Are In!  FremontRossFootball.com Brings the FUTURE FOOTPRINTS of Woodson's Way!

After nearly a week of races in the Poll between the proposed Footprints for Woodson's Way, a winner emerges.  The Fremont Ross Community was given the chance to vote on the  new Footprints on the Fremont Ross Forum where a total of 28 Votes were tallied, the winner emerged in a 15-13 tally.

NEW FOOTPRINTS

Work is scheduled to began on the Repainting of the Footprints on July 29, if weather permits.  The Footprints will be repainted "PURPLE"

While proposing the new design for the replacement of the footprints on Woodson's Way, I just couldn't figure what design I wanted to go with.  Then after thinking about it, why should I decide the design?  Why not let the Fremont Ross Community decide on this matter?  Well now you can, just simply go to: CLICK HERE TO VOTE

While going for a bike ride in town, I happened to ride down by Don Paul Stadium just to view the possibility of the many great football games come this Fall.  But something had disturbed me while going down Woodson's Way to the stadium.  I noticed the footprints were gone...  So that's when I became intrigued to bring these "Giant" footprints back to life.  So to see if others felt the same way, I started a topic on the Fremont Ross Forum, there are many people willing to help but had concerns as many normally would. 

1. Would the City of Fremont approve of the repainting of the Giant footprints?

2. Is the alley in a decent enough condition for the footprints to be repainted?

Well, the good news is here!  Just got word today from the Mayor's Office that he has no problem with the repaint of the footprints.

To show people the footprints look like today and the condition of the alley, I've included some pictures for your viewing pleasure!

This picture was taken in the better part of Woodson's Way. As you can see, the footprint is nearly gone.	This footprint was taken on a bad part of Woodson's Way, but also the footprint is also nearly gone.	And at last, this picture was taken of the footprint on a speed bump on Woodson's Way.
