Above is a Video
Highlight of the Fremont Ross vs Perrysburg Game shot by Mike Woody!
Thanks!
The Fremont Ross Little
Giants opened the 2008 Season with a thought in mind. Revenge against
the Perrysburg Yellow Jackets, which cost them a playoff spot in 2007
after being upset in Week 1 by the score of 20-14.
After, a 52-25 Victory over the Perrysburg Yellow Jackets, it is safe
to say they got their revenge on them.
The game opened up almost like the 2006 Game with Perrysburg, where
the Little Giants won 62-14. On the Little Giant's first Possession of
the Ball, Sophomore Greg Brown caught a 66 Yard pass from Cody Foos
who returns after a very success Sophomore Debut Season throwing for
1,800+ Yards and 15 Touchdowns.
Again, with the 1st Play of the second possession, Foos found Senior
Terrence Davis for a 40 Yard Touchdown Pass to move the Little Giants
up 12-0. Things seemed to be firing on all cylinders for the Little
Giants, with Foos having 110+ Passing Yards with 6 Minutes to go in
the 1st Quarter.
But the Big Question remained, what about our Rushing Attack? There
were many questions going into this game, with Sophomore Tylor
Trautwein and Junior James Spencer getting the RB Duties, how would
they do?
It's safe to say, they silenced any concerns about an effective
rushing attack when the Duo rushed for 216 Yards on just 29 Carries
and 5 Touchdowns, while the Tylor Trautwein rushed for 135 Yards on 18
Carries and 4 Touchdowns him self which included a 77 Yard Run in the
2nd Quarter.
All in all, the Little Giant Fans have a lot to look forward, not only
for the 2008 Season, but well into the 2009 and 2010 Season as the
2008 Roster is still very young!
